The Charter was completed following an extensive consultation and co-production process.

The Charter summaries the Maternity Service that Service Providers want to deliver and Service Users want to receive. The Charter was developed using all the invaluable feedback we have received from all our surveys to date and the feedback of exemplary service received as part of the Midwife of the Year competition, which made clear what excellent care looks like.
